🎬Based on one of the creepiest little chapters in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Last Voyage of the Demeter finally answers the question horror fans have been asking for over a century: “What exactly happened on that ship… and why did nobody make it to London with a pulse?”
This film turns that tiny slice of the novel into a full‑blown maritime nightmare. The merchant ship Demeter is hired to transport fifty unmarked wooden crates from Carpathia to London — which is already a red flag, because nothing good ever comes in bulk wooden crates from Transylvania.
As the voyage drags on, the crew realise they’re not alone. Something is stalking them each night, picking them off one by one with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for all‑you‑can‑eat buffets. By the time the Demeter washes up on the English coast, it’s a burnt‑out husk with no crew, no answers, and no survivors. Just vibes. Terrible, terrible vibes.
