The Heist You Can’t Miss

Prime Video

CULVER CITY, California — January 7, 2026 Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for Steal, a razor‑sharp, high‑octane heist thriller starring Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune‑Lloyd, and Archie Madekwe. All six episodes land globally on January 21, 2026, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

What Steal Is About

Steal follows Zara (Turner), an ordinary office worker at pension fund giant Lochmill Capital, whose very normal workday explodes into chaos when a gang of armed thieves storms the building. Forced to comply alongside her best friend Luke (Madekwe), Zara is dragged into the centre of a heist worth billions — money belonging to everyday people.

Enter DCI Rhys (Fortune‑Lloyd), a brilliant but recently relapsed gambling addict trying to keep his own demons in check while unravelling a crime tangled in secret agendas, corporate shadows, and very personal stakes.

It’s tense, stylish, and packed with the kind of “oh no, they didn’t” twists that make a six‑episode binge feel like one long adrenaline shot.

Who’s Behind It

The series is created and written by Sotiris Nikias, with executive producers Greg Brenman and Rebecca de Souza, producer Nuala O’Leary, and directors Sam Miller and Hettie MacDonald. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Drama Republic.

A heist thriller with brains, bite, and a cast that knows exactly how to keep you glued to the screen.
