Official Trailer and Poster for S2 of Cross
CULVER CITY, California — January 8, 2026 Prime Video has dropped the official trailer and key art for Season 2 of Cross, the high‑stakes crime thriller based on James Patterson’s iconic characters. Starring and executive produced by Aldis Hodge, the new season premieres February 11, 2026, launching with three episodes before rolling out weekly until the finale on March 18.
Created by showrunner Ben Watkins, Cross follows brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross, whose uncanny ability to get inside the minds of killers made Season 1 a breakout hit — pulling in more than 40 million viewers in its first 20 days.
Season 2: Bigger, Bolder, Deadlier
This new chapter raises the stakes as billionaire mogul Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) calls the FBI after receiving a chilling death threat — one that ties him to the murder of a billionaire playboy. Cross teams up with FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) on a joint mission to protect Durand and hunt down a killer who leaves behind gruesome, taunting clues.
Meanwhile, Cross’ longtime partner and best friend John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) makes an unexpected and potentially life‑altering connection.
New Faces, Expanding Universe
Season 2 welcomes Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason, and Wes Chatham, joining returning cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, and Johnny Ray Gill.
Behind the Scenes
Alongside Watkins and Hodge, executive producers include Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Craig Siebels, Owen Shiflett, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios, Cross is gearing up for its most intense season yet.
