Return of the Popcorn Jedi?

Well, I'd SAY Coming Soon but I think I've BEEN and WENT!!!

With all the chopping and changing this site has gone through it has amassed quite a lot of unused media etc over the last four years and my attempt to rectify that has just been a disaster!!! I tried to be a clever shite and add modifications and fixes myself BUT that's pretty much created more problems than it solved.

I mean I was trying all kinds different looks for the site, using cheeky little css codes and clever commands etc. trying to wow my visitors. BUT boy oh boy, you SHOULD have seen my face, when I thought, well, not thought, actually DID wipe two months of media from the server!

So, like me, in the end the simplest solutions are the best, so I'm going to KEEP it simple from now on. I HAVE taken the decision to close down for a while as I tidy up this crazy mess and decide what to do going forward.  The closure shouldn't be TOO long  and I'll try and keep Popcorn Jedi Video updated or NOT as it has turned out!

But the decision has been made, I've decided I AM a glutton for punishment and WILL go through the site, more methodically this time, to clean out the trash. As it stands, there are no sections or posts that go further back than January 1st, 2026 and it will stay that way until I work through them. I WILL continue on my daily jaunts around the internets, posting anything I find interesting AS I also work in the background!

Due to even more unforeseen circumstances (not my fault this time, there's an underlying problem that has plagued me for years and now it needs fixing - better late than never) So Friday August 14th, 2026 is the planned Return of the Popcorn Jedi, so I WILL see you then!!

I know, I know — I said I’d be back by now. But the deeper I dig into this site, the more I realise it needs a proper clean‑out, not a quick patch job. There’s four years’ worth of junk, experiments, broken bits, and one underlying problem that’s been haunting me forever. So instead of rushing a messy comeback, I’m pushing the reopening back until I can fix this thing properly. Don’t worry though — you won’t be left twiddling your thumbs. Popcorn Jedi Video is still alive and kicking, so you can hang out there while I wrestle this beast into shape. New date coming soon… once I stop breaking things.

Quick Update as of August 16th, 2026:

Well, it's getting close. I've done what I need to do and will continue working in the background to do what is still to do. And that is, to go through the Galleries and make them Public as soon as I have checked them and go through The Star Wars Archives and, again, make them Public as soon as I have checked them.

Everything else should be working fine and speaking of working, I'm gonna be kept busy getting the site ready for its return, which, unless something major happens to stop it, the reopening should be imminent, so, watch this space or should I say, don't, because once I'm back, you'll know...

Well, something major happened...how can one site be so feckin' unlucky!! Is the universe trying to tell me something? Probably!!! Oh well, I have to say I am truly sick and tired of all this shite, pissed off doesn't cover it. I'm not going to bore you with the details BUT I will get the site back online, aiming for September 1st, if not sooner!!!
