Bridge of Lies Returns for New Series
BBC Daytime has commissioned 40 new episodes of Bridge of Lies, which means audiences will be able to enjoy more than ever before. Celebrity Bridge of Lies is also set to return with 10 new episodes. The commission marks the sixth series of Bridge of Lies and the fifth series of Celebrity Bridge of Lies.
Actor and presenter Ross Kemp will return to host both series, with filming taking place in Glasgow this autumn.
Ross said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be heading back to Glasgow for more Bridge of Lies and the cherry on the sundae is that we’ll be filming more episodes this year than ever before. It’s testament to everyone involved in the show – especially our viewers – that it’s coming back for an extended run.
“Bridge of Lies is one of those shows that brings everyone together, and I love being part of something like that. I’m looking forward to seeing more teams put their knowledge, trust and teamwork to the test, and take on the bridge. Why not come join us?!”
Fans of Bridge of Lies can now apply to be a contestant on series 6 on the BBC Shows and Tours website. Applications close on Sunday 25 October 2026.

Series six of Bridge of Lies is commissioned by Rob Unsworth, Head of BBC Daytime and Early Peak Commissioning. The Commissioning Editor is Alex McLeod. Series five of Celebrity Bridge of Lies is commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, BBC Head of Entertainment Commissioning. The Commissioning Editor is Neil McCallum.
Both series are produced by Bridge of Lies format creators STV Studios, with Gary Chippington serving as Executive Producer. International format sales, outside of the US, are handled by BBC Studios Distribution.
