Claire Dodd was a prolific pre-Code actress known for her elegant, often scheming “other woman” roles. Active primarily in the early 1930s, she appeared in many films between 1930 and mid-1934, before the Motion Picture Production Code (or Hays Code) was strictly enforced in mid-1934.
