TOWIE Universe Expands This November

Towie Universe Expands This November

ITVX

TOWIE, the nation’s best-loved reality show, is expanding its world this November with two brand-new spin-off specials on ITV2 and ITVX. Amy Childs: A TOWIE Wedding (three episodes) and Jordan & Sophie: A TOWIE Baby (two episodes) follows two iconic couples through separate, life-changing milestones.

Jordan & Sophie: A TOWIE Baby – Sunday 8th & Monday 9th November at 9pm

This two-part special trades glitz for baby bottles, following TOWIE and Geordie Shore favourites Jordan Brook and Sophie Kasaei as they step into an exciting new chapter after welcoming their miracle baby boy, Brody. Having faced years of fertility struggles and the quiet grief of a uncertain future, the couple are now living the life they once only dreamed of. However, the final stages of Sophie’s pregnancy weren’t without their challenges, as Jordan battled an illness that added unexpected pressure and uncertainty to an already emotional time for the couple. Follow their journey as they navigate the whirlwind of newborn parenthood, introduce Brody to their loved ones, and take a crash course in life as a family.

Amy Childs: A TOWIE Wedding – Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th & Thursday 12th November at 9pm

Cameras follow TOWIE royalty Amy Childs and her husband Billy Delbosq as they finally get their happy ending: a Spanish wedding years in the making, and a year overdue.

Following on from their legal ceremony in the UK, the three-part special absolutely refuses to shy away from the utter chaos, capturing wedding planning gone brilliantly awry and the sheer, sweat-inducing nerves of pulling off a three-day extravaganza wedding abroad for the undisputed Queen of Essex. Let’s be real, organising the fake tan and prosecco logistics alone will be an Olympic sport! To add to the glorious madness, her best friend and cousin Harry Derbidge will be the mastermind behind a hen do that she will never forget.

The road to the altar hasn’t been all laughs and sangria, though. The last time Amy tried to plan this epic wedding, it all came crashing down when her mum suffered a sudden, life-changing heart attack. Now, cue the happy tears: with her mum wonderfully on the mend and her children right by her side, Amy is finally getting the spectacular “I do” she was promised.

Lauren Hicks, Executive Producer at Objective Entertainment, part of media and entertainment group, Banijay Entertainment, said: “Weddings, babies, heartbreak, hope. This is TOWIE at its most raw and real, giving audiences an intimate look into two of our best-loved couples at the biggest moments of their lives. No filters, just Amy, Billy, Jordan and Sophie living through it in real time. Audiences are in for an emotional rollercoaster.”

Both specials are produced by Objective Entertainment, part of media and entertainment group, Banijay Entertainment. Amy & Billy: A TOWIE Wedding is executive produced by Lauren Hicks, and has been commissioned by Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment & Reality. Jordan & Sophie: A TOWIE Baby is executive produced by Lauren Hicks and Anne Rowland, and has been commissioned by Gemma John-Lewis, Commissioner, Entertainment & Reality.
