Street Fighter is heading back to the big screen with a new live-action adaptation that puts the legendary rivalry between Ryu and Ken Masters front and centre. Set in 1993, the film follows the estranged Street Fighters as they are drawn back into battle when Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament.
Andrew Koji stars as Ryu, while Noah Centineo takes on the role of Ken Masters. The pair find themselves forced to confront not only powerful opponents but also the troubled history that has driven them apart. As the tournament unfolds, old wounds resurface and long-buried conflicts threaten to explode into open warfare.
Callina Liang plays Chun-Li, whose efforts to bring the fighters together set the story in motion. What initially appears to be a simple competition soon reveals a much larger conspiracy operating behind the scenes. The deeper Ryu and Ken become involved, the more dangerous the tournament becomes, forcing them to choose between rivalry and survival.
Director Kitao Sakurai brings the iconic fighting game series to life with a promise of explosive action, martial arts combat and faithful references to the franchise’s most recognisable elements.
